This FREE event aims to inform people about extreme poverty and encourages people to take action. Hosted by Vanessa Best of Ultrasound, the event will include live music from Jack Day, Cevanne, The Dafydd Williams Bigtet and musicians from the Grand Union Youth Orchestra, with Cal McCullough DJing all afternoon. The event will also include stalls from the Fairtrade Foundation, Pants to Poverty, Newham Bookshop, Results UK and Greenpeace.
At the core of the event will be a 60-minute
1.4 Billion Reasons presentation that demonstrates that by making simple changes in our own lives, we can all find solutions to end extreme poverty. We aim to equip people with the knowledge that they can take simple steps in their daily lives that can have a huge impact for people living in extreme poverty.
