Braodway Theatre Barking
New participants and existing GUYO members took part in all-day workshops followed by an evening performance at the Broadway Theatre, Barking
This event was led by Gerry Hunt, Zhu Xiao Meng, Claude Deppa and Youssuf Ali Khan, with the support of Ketan Kerai and Alex Gagatsis. The workshops ran from 10 til 4 with an outdoor performance at 16.30 in the square outside the Barking Town Hall. The evening performance at 19.30.
Repertoire included new Chinese material that had been performed at the Museum in Docklands, alongside music from Macedonia, South Africa and Bangladesh.
