Following two days of workshops, rehearsals and master classes in world music, younh musicians from the Redbridge area present what they have achieved, some of them performing with the Grand Union Youth Orchestra of East London for the first time.
Under the expert guidance of GU musicians including Claude Deppa, Yousuf Ali Khan, Andres Lafone and Louise Elliot, the students will create a programme that combines Latin-American rhythms, African drumming, European harmony and Indian classical music with solo and collective improvisation.
