Are you 12 years or older? Do you play a musical instrument of any kind?

Yes? Then Grand Union Orchestra invites you to bring your instrument along and try something new at this FREE world music workshop as part of the London 2012 Open Weekend. No matter your ability you’ll get the chance to work with Grand Union Orchestra’s renowned musicians, mixing up world music styles including reggae, bhangra, Indian ragas, and West African rhythms and chants! An event for young people and adults, all welcome! Young people who enjoy the workshop may want to join the Grand Union Youth Orchestra for an exciting programme of workshops and performances this Autumn.

Date: Saturday 24th July 2010, 2:00pm-6:00pm at St John’s at Hackney Church, Lower Clapton Road, E5 0PD.
