Newham Academy of Music are delighted to be hosting the first collaboration and celebration of three diverse groups in Newham. The Newham Acadamy has been leading music education in the borough for over 50 years, enriching the lives of thousands of young people. The Roma Support Group is host to some of London’s finest gypsy musicians and gives inspiring weekly classes in partnership with NAM. Our own Grand Union Orchestra expert musicians will be joining both groups and leading workshops in World Carnival music.

10.00am- 1.00pm- Workshop on Gypsy Music

2.00pm- 5.00pm- Continuing workshop material and blending with African Caribbean and South American music.

5.30pm- 6.30pm- Public performance of work from workshops.

Taking part is FREE. All young musicians are welcome, just bring your instrument!
